According to information on FINRA’s BrokerCheck report , Registered Broker Debra Bourne Currently Faces Several Customer Disputes
Registered Broker Debra Bourne, CRD#: 1352344 has been the subject of several customer disputes according to FINRA BrokerCheck. Bourne has been employed with First Standard Financial Company LLC since March 2016. She holds 24 state licenses and has passed multiple exams including the SIE Securities Industry Essentials Examination and Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination. Before becoming a representative with First Standard Financial Company, Bourne worked with several other firms including First Union Capital, Morgan Stanley, and Oppenheimer & Co. Ms. Bourne has nearly two decades of experience working for a total of seven firms. She is not an active broker.
In recent months Ms. Bourne has received a number of customer dispute. In February 2019 a pending customer dispute was launched accusing Bourne of unauthorized trading and suitability. The customer is requesting damages in the amount of $668,000. Records indicate that Ms. Bourne “vehemently denies the allegations.” Another pending dispute alleges that Bourne was involved in suitability, excessive trading, breach of fiduciary duty and negligence. The customer is requesting damages of $300,000. In the two most recent pending disputes, the broker is again accused of suitability and excessive trading with $2 million in damages requested.
